Fin&Win Competitions

At Fin&Win Competitions, we aim to ensure transparency and fairness in every competition. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for ticket purchases or competition entries.

1. General Policy

All ticket sales are final. Once a payment has been processed and an entry submitted, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except in the limited circumstances described below.

2. Competition Cancellation or Void Draw

  • If a competition is cancelled by Fin&Win Competitions before a winner is drawn, all entrants will receive a full refund of their ticket cost to the original payment method.
  • If a draw is declared void due to a technical error or other system issue, affected entries will also be refunded in full.

3. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

  • If you believe a duplicate or incorrect payment has been made, please contact us as soon as possible at team@finwin.co.uk.
  • We will review your case and, if confirmed, issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

4. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds can only be issued to the individual who purchased the ticket(s) directly from our website.
  • Entries obtained through third parties, resellers, or promotional channels are not eligible for refunds.

5. Prize Delivery Issues

Our competitions offer physical prizes such as luxury aquarium sets and other aquarium equipment. We take care to ensure prizes are packaged securely and dispatched using reputable UK couriers.

  • Minor delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, or factors beyond our reasonable control do not qualify for refunds.
  • If a prize arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe with photos and details.
  • Where damage or loss is confirmed, we may arrange a replacement item, an equivalent alternative, or a refund at our discretion.

6. Processing Time for Refunds

  • Approved refunds are normally processed within 5–10 working days after confirmation.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, funds may take additional time to appear in your account.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Not winning a competition (i.e. your ticket(s) were validly entered but did not win).
  • Failure to enter before the competition closing date.
  • Failure to meet eligibility requirements (e.g. not being a UK resident aged 18+).
  • Breaches of our Terms and Conditions or abusive / fraudulent activity.
